Evija is the first attempt, the small British company in pure electric cars and customers seem to trust this project. The company's leaders from the Hethel of Britain promise that the maximum power of their new and purely electrical powered creation will be 2,000 horsepower and its torque at 1,700 Nm. Lotus CEO, Phil Popham said in Pebble Beach last week :
This is exactly the beginning we hoped for. Evija is a special and excellent car-designed and built to put Lotus back on the map as a pioneering company and leader of mechanical engineering. We have already received several orders, a two-digit number, which gives us great confidence that we will catch the planned production number when it will start next year.
