Mercedes has announced that a new electric model will soon be seen to raise the electric range. After eVito, eSprinter and the recent EQV, the German manufacturer will start a zero-emission Citan. Logically, this model could get the name of the eCitan. Mercedes adds that it will be developed and assembled in partnership with the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance.
The second generation Mercedes Citan's zero-emission version could start as early as 2020, in the wake of his cousin, Renault Kangoo ZE who was presented as a concept car last spring.
