Silence is a Spanish company based in Barcelona and specializes in the production of electric scooters, designed for both transportation and commercial use and therefore for micro-freight transport in the city. Leader of electric scooter sales in Spain, Silence is now aiming to expand to Europe, with first stations France, the United Kingdom, Italy and Germany.

In 2018, the dominant model of Silence (meaning "silence", apparently due to an electric motor) was the S02, which became particularly popular in corporate fleets, with customers such as the Spanish post offices, TelePizza and Domino, and companies Scooter-sharing like Acciona and Scoot.
For 2019, the Barcelona brand focuses on the private sector, on the open market in which the Silence S01 model is available. A scooter that can be compared to a conventional 250 cc motor scooter (!) and features as a major novelty-ease the removable battery, which is easily transported with a "stroller".
Integrated in the rear wheel is the Silence engine of 6,000 W (11 kW maximum power) that moves the total up to 100 km/h. The motor is powered by a removable and transportable battery with a special stroller. This is also the "secret" of the scooter, since it is very large the battery and its weight is not announced, but thus provides the appropriate energy to achieve the above performance.
The autonomy is consistent with the size of the battery and reaches 115 km in urban areas. The price of Silence S01 is equally high and reaches close to 6,500 euros, surpassing the prices of conventional maxi scooter 300 cc of the market.
