200 unit limited run Volkswagen Beetle Bug Edition launched in Malaysia
Volkswagen Malaysia officially launches Volkswagen Beetle Bug Edition. The car is the 1.2TSI Sport version with Volkswagen Bug side sill, side decals, body stripes and a Bug logo. It costs RM146,888, up by RM6,000 for the normal Sport version. Only 200 units of this Bug will be offered starting May 2015. It will be available in five colours - Graciosa Brown, Deep Black, Pure White, Saturn Yellow and Tornado Red)

I tested one of these a short while ago. I actually liked it a fair bit as the Beetle is one of those cars who bring a dash of iconic automobile design with affordability. It was actually fun to drive too. Read the review here.

Come and get it: Volkswagen Beetle Bug Edition
KUALA LUMPUR, 29 April 2015 – An homage to the iconic
Volkswagen Beetle, the German automotive brand is offering
limited units of the Beetle Bug Edition to Malaysian customers.
The Beetle Bug Edition consists of genuine Volkswagen Bug side
sill, side decals, body stripes and Bug logo. The racing stripes
embellishment adds a cool, and funky vibe that will appeal to the
masses.
Priced at RM146, 888, Volkswagen Malaysia is offering 200 units of
the Beetle Bug Edition while stocks last. Available in five colours
(Graciosa Brown, Deep Black, Pure White, Saturn Yellow and
Tornado Red), Malaysian customers will be able to book a unit
across all Volkswagen dealerships nationwide starting May 2015.
Announcing this launch, Mr Armin Keller, Managing Director,
Volkswagen Malaysia said, “This Beetle Bug Edition is a way for us
to engage with Beetle lovers in Malaysia and provide a fun
alternative to the original Beetle.”
