Electric vehicles charging station on the largest bridge in Greece

From Saturday, September 14, 2019 the operation of two double electric vehicle charging stations was launched in the Rio-Antirio Bridge (a station at the east entrance and one in the west). Charging will be free for all electric vehicle owners and bridge users for the first 7 months. The installation of the Chargers was carried out by the company Blink Europe.

Eleni Kondyli, head of quality, health, safety and environment of BRIDGE SA, said: "On the bridge we are working in a systematic way that improves year after year. In the spirit of continuous improvement we aim and reduce its energy footprint. Our direct targets are the reduction of current consumption, the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and the opening to the electrification of vehicles ".
