Faraday Future announced that YT Jia is retiring from her CEO position and takes his place by Carsten Breitfeld, who worked for 20 years on behalf of BMW and was responsible for the i8. After leaving BMW, Breitfeld founded Byton.
Shortly thereafter, he withdrew from the position of President and CEO and founded Iconiq Motors before becoming the CEO of Faraday Future. Breitfeld will take the reins of the troubled company and try to start the production of FF 91, as well as the design of more models.
