Following the announcement that the new generation electric Fiat 500 will come to us in the mid 2020, the Italian brand stated that it prepares feverishly and the new generation Panda, as well as its electrical version. The new model will come to us within 2021, having in its range and a purely electric powered version, which will be released 2 years later.
Like the prototype Centoventi model presented by FIAT at the Geneva Motor show in 2019, the electric Panda will offer the possibility to the prospective buyer to adapt the batteries of the car, depending on their needs. The prospective purchaser will be able to add up to three additional items in order to increase their autonomy, which will change the cost of acquisition accordingly. Full battery, (5 arrays) The electric Panda, according to Fiat will be able to cover up to 500 km, while with one element, autonomy will only touch the 100 km.
As far as the exterior design is concerned, according to the CEO of the brand, Olivier Francois, the new generation Panda will have several common design features with the original Centoventi. After all, Fiat has announced that it intends to build models based on Panda and 500, leaving other categories, such as medium, premium or sports models, on the sidelines.
